Main Street Revolution was formed in September 2022 by four Twin Cities business leaders who believe small businesses are the backbone of our communities. With 99% of businesses in America classified as “small,” these entrepreneurs, executives, dreamers, and hard-working professionals fuel our local economies, create jobs, and inspire innovation.  Yet, despite their importance, small businesses often face significant challenges—lack of resources, limited networks, and the overwhelming task of staying competitive in an ever-changing world.

That’s where Main Street Revolution was born. Our founders, passionate advocates for small business success, saw a need for a movement—one that empowers local professionals with the education, connections, and inspiration to thrive. We envisioned a revolution of success on Main Street, where businesses don’t just survive but flourish.

Through dynamic events, networking opportunities, and expert-driven education, we provide small businesses with the tools, strategies, and support they need to reach new heights.  And because we believe in accessibility, we go the extra mile to keep our events open and valuable—so much so that when we don’t secure a sponsor for our free lunch, we fund it ourselves!

This month’s luncheon will feature Michael Roane, VP, Employee Benefits/Shareholder at Holmes Murphy, who will share practical guidance on managing today’s rapidly evolving benefits landscape.

Employee benefits continue to be one of the most significant investments organizations can make. However, rising healthcare costs, pharmacy trends, stop-loss considerations, and changing workforce expectations are making benefit decisions more challenging than ever for business leaders.
